Bluetooth APP crashing, Iphone, MP 5

Hi, I'v got a problem With Bluetooth APP, MP 5, Iphone, - app crashing when I press the Bluetooth button.
Iphone XS Max, iOS 13.5.1

Same problem on Iphone  7, iOS 13.5.1. This phone has been working earlier.

Iphone 6, iOS 12.4.6 Works just fine.
Maybe the problem is related to iOS 13.5.

Any idea what this might be?

Hello,

You are absolutely correct, this is an issue with the APP, It has to be updated to work with the latest firmware.

GM China is aware of it and they are working on an update. They have said it should be done in a couple weeks.

I too have iphone SE iOS 13.6.1 and MagicPie-ui APP crashes when selecting blue tooth connection. Is there an ETD on the updated APP?

I Just got confirmation, that the IOS app has been fixed.

you will need to update the APP.

I Just got confirmation, that the IOS app has been fixed.

Does this mean that a typical Chinese week has thirty-nine days instead of seven?  :-\

I sometimes forget what day of the week it is, and that's with only seven days to choose from.  ::)

On a more serious note, let's hope this updated version of the IOS APP cures all the problems that people have been experiencing with the previous version.

thats great for iphone people but what about the android people like me? I'm still waiting for an update of the app for android 9 or 10, because it is not working...

Same problem here - Android app is woefully out of date, crashes constantly & mostly doesn't work properly. I guess that's why it's not available on the play store?

So.....will GM be updating their android app anytime soon so that it works on latest android versions?......anyone from GM care to chime in here?

YAY! Good to know, thanks. I can't understand why they've not bothered with doing it for so long TBH, but at least their customers now know that they are finally doing something about it.

Hi,

Have they got back to you yet with an update? It's been another month without bluetooth connectivity - have I wasted my time upgrading to MP5? I'm on the verge of returning the whole lot & using a different manufacturer....

I have followed up with them multiple times.

still have not gotten an update.

The issue is the APP is managed by a 3rd party so it take much longer to update than it should.

I have reached out to them again. this time I reached out to the CEO as well.
