Alcohol can remove it not doubt.
I'll be begging to see pics of your gear in a years time to see if it remains clean and uncontaminated, sincerely.
See I got an old HBS hub still running for 5 years now. The insides are as dry as the day I bought it and I rode through flood water up to and over knee high for a week. its still dry inside.
You do know your windings are already coated and are waterproof.
Here is another suggestion.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NeKgmCdiEbQFully reversible. Im not sure if this works for your winding, it seems good.
Ill have to find out what Reid Welch uses.
"Note: the coating is a thick, rubber-like film applied in several coats.? It can be pulled off if ever I need to service the
BMS or any of the cells in the pack.
This is a fully reversible modification that will allow the ebike (see my other vids here) to run in waist-deep water, or even fully underwater, without the least harm to the electrics or to the bike's parts or frame tubing: all is sealed or rustproofed.
And though it is a hardtail, it will bomb off curbings at top speed without harm."
