Hi I am moving and the place I am moving to has a very very very steep and long dirt driveway to get out. I have a 901 front hub motor and if I peddle really hard along with the motor I can just barely make it up however I have disabilities and I find it a little to much. So I was considering buying another 901 for the rear wheel.
How would the wiring go for this? I have a Lifepo4 20amphr 36 volt battery.
I suppose a geared motor would be another option for the rear so I could just engage it when going up this monster hill, and then freewheel otherwise as the front 901 is plenty powerful enough for everything else... Would be less resistance as opposed to the hub motor when not electrically engaged and I would suspect that having both hub motors engaged all the time would cut your range down dramatically.
Thanks for yours thoughts.
