hi guys...
you know what, its 1000's more miles since then, and I even admit I became a non electric roadie in the meantime, I mean, healthy 200 miles per week manual cyclist
3 sets bearings, 2 wiring harnesses...tried 4 other motors, 3 controllers, only 1 wife though...
When all is said and done, I do always return to the pie......geared motors are too noisy, high power geared motors constantly have you on edge for that pothole that makes you rev the throttle by accident, too much heat ?, too many amps ?, sounds like a dentist drill etc., new clutch needed, etc etc etc...don't get me wrong, they all have their place in the world, however
but for real relaxing powerful non tech fault commuting, I just come back to my pie ( but I use a lyen controller
)
must be nearly 8000 miles now
