How can I make my MP faster?

Hi everyone. I want to know what I could do, to make my mp1000w/48v, with internal controller, faster than it is now..

The best way is to rip out the internal controller and run the phase and hall wires outside of the motor.

Get a high power controller such as an lyen modded Infineon.

Then you need very high power batteries such as A123 LiFeP04 or LiPo that can handle very large currents.

You need at least 60 volts nominal for 31-32 max mph.

I'm afraid all that will cost you a lot but that's the price you pay for power I'm afraid!

This thread might give you some info, but no I've not really any photos.

Basically you got the 3 phase wires and 5 hall wires. Once you remove the internal controller it will become obvious which wires are which.


I just extended the phase wires with 12G alfa eco wire and the halls with cat5 network cable. I used heat shrink to insulate the joins on
the halls inside the motor!

Just remove the existing wire from the axle and feed the new wires out through where you took out the old one
