I'm guessing that EABS is an acronym for
Electrical
Anti-lock
Braking
System, which is basically just a more technical sounding term for Regenerative Braking.
Regenerative Braking on most motors won't work at very slow speeds, so it cannot actually lock the wheel up even though the braking force on the wheel may be very strong at higher speeds. Therefore
regen could easily be referred to as an Electrical Anti-lock Braking System
(EABS).
It could also stand for Electrically Assisted Braking System as well.
