Hi Tomas

Is that supposed to be a GM motor? Mine don't look like that at all.  I have several in stock and mine look like the ones in the picture below.

OK, that is a link to 5 more pictures that don't look like the motor in the video. Even the person in the video states he doesn't know who made the motor. Im not trying to be rude, but I don't understand your point. Maybe you know something I don't, it should be easy as I don't really know alot ???. But can you elaborate a bit?

I'm trying to figure out if it's just a reason to get another link to ES in the forum or if it is actually something of concern related to a GM Motor. I don't know, I think I'm still a litlle fuzzy from new years. Am I missing something?

WooHoo Happy New Year! Oh yeah, it's over now..

Happy new year chaps @!@
Monkey thinks Thomas may not speak english as a first language.

Judging from the post + ES me thinks he is posting his feedback about a problem that's happened twice with his motor; the actual hub casing cracking/breaking where the freewheel screws on.

Initially replaced by his dealer, the replacement also broke resulting in Thomas building his own and bolting it to the hub casing. (Nice job by the way!)

So I'm not even sure whats going on, I just assumed he asked if anyone saw this happen with their motor.
Still the topic post says 'mini motor' problem :S

glug glug glug burp

Hello again guys!

MonkeyMagic have right about my english  ;)

I will try to to explain:

1) About Endless ... This post has been written by man, whom I sold the motor
2) This is the MBG24R motor that I bought from Goldenmotor
3) When the first has been damaged I gave him a new one (my loss  >:( )
4) When the new has been damaged this man repair it himself (fortunately, I did not have to look for another !!!)
5) Yes ... this is a strong man ....but .... hmm.. I do not know what to think about this ...
6) IMHO this should not break off !
7) I'm looking for similar cases. Maybe this is some faulty production of the series?

Hi Tomas

Oh I'm a little happy to hear this is not your personal problem, but as it is your customer, it still your problem ;)
NEVER have I seen anybody break/snap the thread on the hub casing!! Lol that is why I said 'he must have strong legs'
As it has happened twice, I assume your customer probably has something wrong in the chain drive. This is only going by the time I spend on forums and 'ebike' problems I've researched. This one was surprising to see

It could be many things, but I do not think at the cause of the motor. I could even be safe to say the first one you sold 'never' failed, as it was probably never designed for the stress it took.

Some things that come to mind:

1- Maybe the rear too tight, with little room causing the freewheel to rub against the frame. Maybe this caused it to snap if it got stuck.
2- Somehow the rider is using an extremely tight chain causing much stress(damage) on the freewheel
3- The chain alignment could be off center, making the freewheel want to pull to one side; maybe causing it to break
4- The freewheel screwed on too tight using a tool when installed
5- The freewheel not screwed on enough, or too many washers put in front of freewheel

Those are just some thoughts..

Since it happened twice, I doubt it's a defect in the product. It appears very hard for someone to break that !

:D

Hopefully you do not hear about the problem again
