How to remove the rubber grip from the Twist Grip
« on: September 20, 2010, 12:29:59 AM »
Hi,

I got my pie this week and have started having a go at assembling it.

Does anyone know how to remove the rubber grips from the twist throttle?

The fact that the Kit comes with spare rubber grips implies that they can be changed (?) but without any instructions whatsoever in the box, it's difficult to see how I can remove them.

I don't want to force anything in case I break anything.

They are not supposed to come off, the spare grips are for use with the thumb throttle.

As I got two twist throttles and had the same thoughts as you, I dissect one of them and only realized that it then belonged in the trash can. :( The other one was instead cut in half as a suggestion from Leslie (317517), the creative man from down under.
