Front or rear MP?
« on: September 07, 2010, 04:28:00 PM »
This is not what to choose, but how do I tell the difference? Ordered both, only one came today. No labels. How do I messure if its the front or the rearwheel I got?

I want to test :P

Karen,

The front wheel does not have a threaded boss on the right hand side cover for the freewheel to screw onto and the shorter axle is approximately the same length on both sides.

See attachments below for more details:

Karen,
the Rear Motor will have a threaded portion on the side of the wheel opposite from the side with the cables hanging out.
The threads encircle the axle and are for mounting the 'freewheel', or gear cluster, on the right side of the wheel.
The front motor housing wil not have this threaded area.
