Howdy

I thought I would write a quick 'how to' on how to track your package using the GM website. Mainly due to me thinking it was a great new idea GM introduced + I think people are confused when they receive their 'Confirmation' reference number rather than the 'Tracking' number.
It's important to understand that when you do not receive a response from the confirmation number, it doesn't mean that GM have not sent it; It would most likely be due to a backlog of courier packages out of GM's control, or possibly a rare unforseen stock issue. Not necessarily a box sitting on someones desk or as a doorstop as you may picture.
I say this because I am somewhat pleased that with my ignored contacts and no replies in relation to a warranty problem, that my new order for a new wheel was still fulfilled even though I have not heard back from Tom regarding a solution to my existing faulty product. This improved my trust for GM and maintained my peace of mind receiving new products in an advisable 'general' timeframe. The warranty issue is another matter. I could keep faith in GM using the tracking service, for what ever reason they are busy or in a coma for not replying to my other emails
One thing I can commend GM on highly is sending the goods out at earliest possible convenience. Next comes your countries customs then your countries ability to sort and manage international packages in an efficient manor before it gets to you. I get mine in about 2-3 days
after it reaches my country.
Anyways it's in a PDF for easy view. I hope it points a few people in the right direction and reduces the amount of emails being sent to GM regarding tracking. After all, if only sales and warranty emails were sent to GM then they could be answered quicker !!
