What's the safest level for an LVC of a 36v LiFePO4
« on: March 09, 2010, 09:32:59 PM »
I'm using the 24v minimotor with a 36v 14ah LiFePO4 battery and would liketo setup my BMS with the best LVC for that battery...

Voltage per cell group should be what?

Frank,

Without knowing exactly which battery you have, it's difficult to say.

If you're using a GM LiFePO4 I would guess somewhere around 2.8V per cell would be a reasonably safe cut off voltage for this battery, based on their charging graph:

The maximum charging voltage should provide some clue as to the actual voltage of the individual cells.
