;D  I got 600 miles, about 1000 km and still happy but I do want a higher top speed, as scooters are passing me with 50km/h

Nice bike.
What battery are you running?
What top speed do you get?

I like the way the GM kit goes together on your bike Hcore.

That looks like a really solid build you got going.

Nice.

Bring it on

thanks.
i will start at the beginning, my first email was to philip on 25-5-2009
my last email, the money transfer was, today, 18-1-2010

so it took me almost 8 months to get my bike like this.

i still am very happy but I think no one should complain about the time they waited but they should think about the time and money they could safe. for me it's just time, like 90 min a day

Thats one fly ride dog!   You got the Magic Pie,  Im getting the same top speed as you on my regular 48v 100w GM.    Im going to boost it to 72 volts.   I was told that I might not get even one more mile per hour,  but Ill get to top speed faster and hold it longer.   I have read alot on all the forums about Delta/WYE switching.    On you tube karmabike1911 has gone extensivley into the Golden Motor conversion.    THIS is speed upgrade!  A great thread here on the subject,  and another one even more complete in the Endless Sphere forum.   I was told golden motor wasnt a good candidate for it,  but if you convert all the wires looming out of the axle to teflon insulated,  you can use thinner wire and not have a meltdown!   Theres tons to figure out and it takes a while to complete,  If you seriously want speed,  you might want to invest in a second motor you can modify while your riding what you got,  then you can modify that one when your enjoying the first.    I invested in another hub for this very purpose.   Im going Delta/WYE phase shifting, with an infineon 18 fet Lyens edition, and 72 volts.    I don't plan on actually ridding faster than about 40 mph!  But I think when its done,  it will do more than that.
SS

PS...  Ill let ya know if 72v makes a top speed diference,   I should know in about a week.   Waiting for batteries and chargers.
