Goldenmotor brake???

Does somebody know how high the voltage and current is if you brake with the goldenmotor brakes??? Does it destroy my lipo-Batteries????

I have the 48V Goldenmotor with Magic-controller

Regen braking seems to work fine with the Ping battery.  The cycle analyst shows that when I brake hard, with both front and rear hooked up to regen braking, it charges at about 2000-watts.

That was with dual hub motors, so a single motor would be around 1000 Watts. (Approx 20 Amps @ 48V.)
Obviously this will vary depending on how fast you are going before you apply the brakes.

Not sure what effect this will have on your LiPo pack as the cells won't receive a balanced charge during regenerative braking.

Can anybody tell me how much current the magic controller lets go thrue? Is there a limit?

I have the 1000 Watt Motor - and I think its very week - no power!
