What model GM motor is this?
« on: May 28, 2012, 06:10:32 AM »
What model GM motor is this? I have it on one of my bikes. I bought it as a kit from Golden Motors maybe around 6 years ago I think. It seems a little different than a 901, lighter, silver, and quieter. It's much bigger than a 902. Good motor, still works fine.
I'd like to know what model it is........

Googling for "Kuake hub motor" brings up surprisingly little info, as I presume you've already done. The only useful item I found was a reference to 36V for a motor with a similar description.

Yes. This motor was purchased from Golden Motor, so I thought it was manufactured by them but perhaps it was not. It was after GM's 902 model in the timeline, so perhaps it was either an early 901 or a rebranded 3rd party motor that they used as the inspiriation for the 901......?
I thought someone here from GM might know the details.
