Battery Anderson connector in 8 pieces
« on: April 23, 2011, 05:00:03 PM »
Gary or BikeMad , I was looking for a bad connection ,since my green light goes out on acceleration .While cleaning the connectors on the battery one of the connectors slid into the battery , then pieces of the black plastic started to fall out . I opened the battery and both connectors fell out and 8 pieces of plastic , The Anderson connector , fell out . I am just going to solder a pigtail on . My question is since I am not sure if the wires switched possion when I took it apart , Does the Ground wire go thru the switch and the hot is coming from the right side in the battery , I don't want to screw it up . Thanks Rodmiami

I have the battery upside down , I think the plus + side is on the left side of battery coming from the front and the Ground - is open and closed by the switch . Can anyone conferm this ? Thanks Rodmiami

Sorry for the late reply but if you had a meter is easily sorted out. Glad you figured it out anyway :)
