Cruise controller cuts out on bumps?
« on: April 08, 2011, 01:19:41 AM »
Just getting started with ebikes and really enjoying it as a transport option.
However, the roads around here are not pristine and I am finding that the cruise controller cuts out fairly often.
I have modified the battery housing so that it is cushioned more from vibration and bumps and the problem persists.
I guess its a controller issue. Any suggestions appreciated.

I would be having a close look at the wiring mate, and check all of the pins in the plugs and sockets to make sure they have contact

Continuity with a multimeter will be worth the time

cheers

Therefore you will not take offense when I say "No worries f$%& nose!"
