Maximun MP Power???

Well another question...

What is the maximum continuous power that can be get from a MP with out smoking it?

So I assume that none have explored the limits...

As per the GM web it is 1000W, the problem I see is then limited by the GM controllers to 500 to 700W input continuos power that may be around 350 to 525W axle power assuming around 70% efficiency system.

The thing is after heavy use does the motor heat up at that rates?

No warranty implied,so don't blame me but ive been putting 2000W through it upa hill, no peddaling, about 2 minutes ,, got a little warm, but as for continuous operating power, will have to test a lot more

Thank you, that is a good start.

2 minutes at 2000W and only warm says that at least it can work at around 1200-1500W continuos.

At what voltage were you working the MP at that moments?
