Battery Pack
« on: May 27, 2018, 04:19:18 AM »
I came across a China based website that, in my exp in the past with ordering from ships very quickly for China. What do you guys think ? I would have to buy another charger, or get an adaptor from Grin Tech to work with the Anderson Connector. It think it's a very odd design, that makes no sense. You need a Ground wire for the charger, yet the picture shows a dual Anderson Connector ??

If that battery uses those Headway cells it should be a good battery.

The two wire connection (Battery + and Battery -) is standard for most charging applications even though a three or four pin connector is sometimes used.

It should be possible to make up a simple adapter using a three pin socket to suit your charger's plug and then wire it to a couple of suitable Anderson connectors to match the Battery's charging connectors.

But I suggest that you check the output of your existing charger to ensure the output voltage does not exceed 58.4V or you may overload the new battery's BMS.
