Well to be honest I have used lipoly batteries for the last 7-8 years DAILY. The only ones I have ever had any trouble with were the ones I imported.

It does suck that one cellphone catching fire can set the the whole industry back ages.

Did anyone happen to actually get their batteries from Zane Tatum..?

Im not sure and don't want to be a pessamist but this guy appears to have his hands in "Everything under the sun"

http://www.google.com/search?q=%22Zane+Tatum%22&hl=en&start=10&sa=N

I did a google search on him and that same LA address and name comes up in thousands of products.

I did call him today but he said he was going out of the country. I am excited if its a good and true product but The google search startled me.. ??? ??? ??? ???

It would appear that FOXX Lilfepo4 do not actually exist.
The Website is all photos and graphs taken from various other Chinese websites and it makes you think all these products are available from Aten and that is not correct. I have no clue why Aten is doing this because it will give them a bad reputation.

YESA, Thunder Sky and LifeBatt are the only 3 companies who have LIFEPO4 ready to ship now. Last I heard Aten is taking orders for 6-8 weeks from now and I'll bet those weeks will be spent looking for Lifepo4 packs in China to send to people who order now, but you will have no clue what you will be getting now will you. There are 3 Grades of Iron Phosphate powder on the market now, ONLY Phostech is the best of the 3 and this ensures 2,000 to 2,500 cycles. The #3 Grade is good for 500 Cycles (maybe) and the #2 Grade 1,000 to 1,500 cycles. So make sure when you order you know which Grade you are ordering.

Also there may be new tech under development. Batteryspace has a forum.

Not yet, he originally told me 3-4 weeks, but also told me 4-6 weeks at some point. I have not called him, but I was not charged for the battery until last week, so I am assuming it is in production now. I will call him Tuesday for progress.

Update:
I called Zane today and he said it would be around 10 days until shipment.
He said he would call me this Friday or next Monday with more details.

It'll be nice to know these aren't vaporware.  Thanks for the updates.
