That version appears to be fitted with "eight foot" wheels, whereas the original
(see attachement below) had two six foot wheels, and each one was a different diameter. Disc brakes were the preferred option as loose laces would regularly become entangled in the calipers, causing major problems with the toe-in and heel alignment.
When fitted with Dr Martin air cushion soles, they gave a very comfortable and sure footed ride, but unfortunately they were susceptible to punctures, and many riders ended up with flat feet.
Mind you, it's surprising how many "foot pounds" of torque could be applied before they would start heelspinning.
