Actually by some calculation (was over a page long), on the fets caps and shunts I'm getting a 5 to 8 ratio.  

So do not exceed the max amps by 40% over your continuous settings.  30% is safest for the bigger motors and for the smaller mini motor 40% is fine..

Hi Tom.  It is good to see you here in the forums. We all would like to see you more.

You have some good infornation to share. I understand english maybe hard for you, We can help.  I will suport TOM, and TOM will support me?

You give good advice about charging batteries in winter.

I add it here. I add more good advice, and advice of things not to do, to install and maintain GM motors.

If you are not using your bicycle, Do disconnect the battery connector, Do charge the battery at least once every two months and more often in winter.
