Hi Philip,
   I have 3 goldenmotor kits installed on 2 trikes and one pusher trailer. the oldest kit is now on it's third year and is still going strong on the original 10ah batteries supplied by GM. I have had no failures of any kind except sometimes cuts out in wet weather. For my part I really my Gm. I just purchased a new magic contoller and it is awsome! Really like having reverse on my trike!
