MP4 Setting controller
« on: January 05, 2017, 04:01:09 AM »
Hello, sorry my bad english and thanks you for your response.
I constructed a ebike with two MP4, front and rear, which came configured from the factory for work at 60km/h with 48v.
By a mechanical problem, I had to change the rear controller, but this came configured to 45km/h.
When I try to modify the configuration using the software downloaded from the web, I press "Download" button to complete and save the configuration, but this does not happen.
Please can you help me with this problem.
Best regards,
L.

Hi andto the forum.

60km/h is unusually high for an MP4, what size wheels do you have?

Can you post screenshots of the settings from both controllers?

Have you tried to alter any of the settings on the other controller to check that the USB programming lead is working OK?

If it won't change the settings on both controllers, then there could be a problem with either the USB programming lead or the software/PC, but if it successfully changes one controller but not the other, then the problem is probably a fault with the new controller.

Hello Alan!!!
Thank you for your quick response.
When I bought the wheels they asked me if I wanted at 60 or 45 km/h. They arrived with 60 km/h.
My wheel size is 26”.
The first picture, is the original controller settings of the front wheel.
The second is the new controller settings of the rear wheel.
I have tried to change the settings in the two controllers and none is possible.
Thank you for your help and greetings,
Luis

Hi Luis, when you click the "Download" icon to save the parameters to the controller, do you see the "Download parameters successfully" popup message box?

I think you may have a problem with the USB programing lead, as it obviously appears to be receiving data correctly from the controllers but seems to be having problems transmitting the new data back to them again.

Hi Alan,
Yes, I see the "Download parameters successfully" popup message box.
As you say, the problem must be in USB programing lead. so I will require a new one.
Best regards and thanks.
Luis.
