Axle thread size

I have a rear mounted mp2. Going thru the forum I find various different answers on this topic. I would like it simple as I new to this. Are 3/8"×24tpi, 3/8"×26tpi, or some other size. Don't want to weaken the axlle by tooling it as this is on an e-trike used for carrying up to 200 kg. Any simple help would be appreciated**

Hi andto the forum.

There appear to be two thread sizes used on the Magic Pies and they are both metric, so you have a choice of either M14 x 1.5mm or M14 x 1.25mm.

All of my Magic Pies and Smart Pies have 1.5mm pitch threads on their axles but you will need to measure yours to find out whether it has a 1.25mm or 1.5mm pitch.
