Any recent MP3 controller failures?

Hi Folks,

I was just thinking it has been quite a while since I read about an MP3  48VDC controller failure.  Perhaps there was a design change?  Is it possible that 48 VDC controller deaths are a thing of the past?

Have you had a controller problem on a MP3 purchased in the last year?  Anyone?
