Magic Pie 3 wires
« on: September 29, 2012, 10:45:34 PM »
does anyone know what I would look for if I wanted longer wires for the throttle, brake and cruise wires. imagine I could find an extension however don't know where to begin. I prefer to just get an extension with the plugs on it rather then cutting the wires and splicing. thank you in advance

Gary has a few wiring harnesses listed (http://www.goldenmotor.ca/categories/Parts-and-Accessories/Cables/Wire-Harness-%28Loom%29/), but I don't think these are what you have in mind.

I doubt you'll find exactly what you need - extensions like that most likely fall under the category of Custom Build. But, it's not difficult to make something. All you need to find is a supplier of Molex type connectors. After that it gets easier.

Be aware however, that every time you add connections in a line, there's more opportunity for things to go wrong (loose wires, oxidized contacts, etc.).
