instead of changing phases, can I
« on: July 14, 2012, 05:32:27 PM »
Hi Folks,

Hey, all you nice people who have been sharing Lyen information with me, I have another question.

Instead of changing the hall and phase wires around, can I just select reverse?   Or is there some feature I would be limiting?

What do you think?

TTFN,
Dennis

And no, I still don't have my controller.  :(

I never thought about that when hooking up mine, but then, i'm not the rebel you are ;). It's no biggie to swap the power and hall effect leads though.

I'd be inclined to ask Edward about that before experimenting. Sounds like you have some time before it arrives and i'd hate to hear that you'd let some smoke out on the first crack of the throttle. Summer's too short to spend waiting for replacements.
