New build,
« on: April 26, 2010, 09:08:18 AM »
I spent a good part of yesterday mix matching some parts laying around I have, and came up with this.

There are a few things not going to plan.

I had to cut the tubing on the frame to be able to use the strongest forks I had, and I cant get the locking nut over the thread.

I was thinking of putting some nicks in it and tacking her with a small low amp arc.

Other than buy new forks are there any other ways to get around my fork/goose neck bearing problem.  I'm no welder and a little hesitant to continue.

I don't care about the frame I don't want to lose the work ive done.  So welding it is fine as long as it works

Will welding it damage it too much?

Ive looking at putting a pie on it and two 12ah packs either side of the frame.

I can modify the frame to fit a 24".  Any word on this size.  The 20" looks rather gnarley. I was wondering what the 18" would do.

Carting stuff home it would be awesome but whats the efficiency of the 18" pie with low loads.  Does all that RPM chew through your capacity?

Any feedback would be appreiciated.
