It's good to hear your Pie has arrived Andrew, but what was the solution to the charging/adapter problem?

Hi Alan
Not a major problem, the Pie arrived with a two pin plug, I tried putting on a shaving adptor ::) but it would not power up the charger..  In the end I just used the power cable from my PC and now the battery is fully charged ;D ;D ;D

I'll try and get some photos up in a new thread some time today or in the next few days. I spent yesterday morning unpacking and then slowly throughout the day just fitting together the mechanical stuff. There was a small amount of 'modifying' needed, but everything has been a neat tight fit as I planned.

One thing I did notice which was slightly worrying, ........ where the hole had been punched into the rim for the intertube valve there was a 2 inch tear where the first outer layer wall had come off.  There was no debris, so i'm sure it was not caused in transit.  The good thing was that the tears in the metal rim are pointing inwards so there are no sharp  edges. I made sure the rubber band around the rim covered the tear and then put on the innertube and tyre.  I hope this will not cause an issue. Is this normal ???
