Problems activating reverse
« on: October 07, 2010, 02:34:36 PM »
Hi everyone,

I'm having some trouble activating the reverse function on one of my MPs. I have it activated In the MP software however It does not respond when I press the button. It works fine on all my other Pies so I know the wiring and throttle is ok.
I found that the problem is related to the PCB. The input for the reverse function (Same as usb) is constantly low (0V)
I tried connecting a pull upp resistor of 10kOhm between the input and +5V on the PCB. Now the problem is the opposite. It's constantly on +5V. Has anyone else had this problem?

Thank you for your time!

Myrek, if your Magic Pie responds to the usb lead, it may not support Reverse.
(Check out this post for more information.)

Which contact on the controller does the yellow lead connect to?
("d" or "rx")

Is it the newest one of your batch of Pies?

Can you actually change the settings using the usb lead on any of your other Pies? Because I don't recall anyone being able to adjust the settings on a Magic Pie that actually had the reverse function working on it. (or vice versa!)
