I have a 48volt pie and a headway 48volt 10AH pack running with my DIY SWB recumbent. Holy crap is this a lot of fun! With my Garmin GPS she runs at 43kmh with my 195lbs on board.

The acceleration and throttle response is very satifying.

I got the pie from Gary at goldenmotor.ca in December 2009. From what I read here the usb programming is not possible. It would be really cool if the upgraded controllers were available as an upgrade kit.

All in all  I am really happy with the MP.

yes I would like to be able to buy a new internal controller and usb lead as well I think if I could cut down on the regen I would stop braking spokes also I think if I could change the settings to 48v the pie would be faster. I am thinking of ordering another pie but with the pie II coming out it may be best if I wait.
