fixed my ping lifepo4 battery. cell group #2 was down. on inspection it was found to have a split along the seam.soldered in a new group of 4 batts that ping sent me.fantastic comunication with him.
Q: the battery 36v 16amp- can I put a 16amp sla in paralel with the lifep04 to give me more "go"(charged alone)

Only if it is also 36v. If it is only 12v it would work best in series if you needed 48v. In either situation you may not get the full capacity out of the battery as I think sla's voltage will slump more towards the end and the low voltage cutout may activate sooner.
