Hi Mark,
The problem you are experiencing is most likely due to the ambiguous icons and confusing tool tip text which only displays "Upload" and "Download" instead of "Read Parameters from controller" and "Save parameters to controller":
The "Upload " icon only reads the parameters from the controller and "Uploads" them to your Laptop.
To save any alterations you have made in the program, you need to "Download" them from your laptop to the controller.
You just need to see the icon as a controller
(instead of a computer) for the arrows to make sense.
The "Import" and "Export" icons also appear to be the exact opposite of what you would expect.
