Bluetooth not working

When I try to log on with blue tooth the app closes. Dongle is flashing green. I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong?

After contacting GM and trying everything they asked me to try since March 3. Now looks like stuck with blue tooth dongle. There are only two thing’s involved here the app and dongle. My display works off same connection so it’s one or the other. Said they updated app which it says it was last updated 4 months ago. No responding to emails so looks like this is going nowhere.

Hi Greg,

Which phone and version of the operating software are you using?

Have you tried a different phone to see if it still crashes?

If yours is an Android phone, there are several versions of the Android Apps in this thread, it might be worth trying an earlier version to see what appens.

iPhone 11 app version 1.2

I have just searched the forum but I cannot find any mention of an "iPhone 11" being used by any other members, so I can't say whether it has worked for anyone else or not.

I have successfully connected an iPhone 4S and an iPhone 7 to my MP Edge, but I have not tried any Apple devices newer than that. 

Has any else tried an iPhone 11 with a Magic/Smart Pie 5 or MP Edge with the Bluetooth dongle?

Hi there - new member using a Black Pie 5 on a 26" front wheel conversion. Wanted to comment on the "Bluetooth not working on iPhone 11" discussion to say that I get the same crashing app when pressing the Bluetooth button using an iPhone 10 on iOS 13.5. It works fine on my old iPhone 6.  Will there be an update to the iOS App to work on newer phones?

Hi, I'v got the same problem MP 5, - app crashing when I press the Bluetooth button.
Iphone XS Max, iOS13.5.1

Same problem on Iphone  7, iOS 13.5.1. This phone has been working earlier.

Iphone 6, iOS 12.4.6 Works just fine.
Maybe the problem is related to iOS 13.5.
My Iphone 6 gets to keep old iOS.

Looking foreward to a solution… :-)
