Maximum wattage peak on a 48 Volt Black Pie Vector

I would just like to know the safest upper limits of this motor thanks

Hi Joe andto the forum.

The maximum current setting that the vector controllers will allow is 30A, but I believe that the default (recommended) setting is 25A.
My Magic Pies are all set @ 30A (except for the MP4 on my "road legal" bike.) ;)

With a typical 48V lithium battery this should draw a maximum of ~1300 Watts at the default recommended 25 Amps setting, and ~1560 Watts at the maximum 30 Amps.  :D
