Magic Pie v5 Android App Crashes
« on: April 12, 2016, 02:10:40 PM »
Hi, I'm trying to do a follow up to a Magic Pie v5 build video and article: https://aroundhome.org/electric-bike-kit-install/ covering the Bluetooth adapter and Android app. It appears I am having the same problems as many others here in that the Android app crashes immediately if Bluetooth is enabled when launching it.  If Bluetooth is disabled and pairing is attempted inside the app, as soon as Bluetooth is enabled by the app, it crashes.

This basically makes the adapter useless and I'm trying to find some information about that status of this crash before updating my article.

Thanks,
-Doug

Hi
I guess the best is to ask your retailer about it or GM direct about that problem as it seems an incompatibility between the GM Software (=App) and the Smartphone.
Cheers

Have you tried the latest Android App that was released at the end of May?
