So I have been thinking of organizing an E-bike event in the Eastern Sierra's Alabama Hills. I used to live in the area and always found it difficult to mountain bike due to the decomposed granite soil- it seems no matter how hard you pedal, you just sink in the sand. Unless you have a fat tire bike, but that has its limits as well. I used to ride my Yamaha wr400 motorcycle out here and it was a blast. I figured the electric motor would provide the torque needed to cut through the sand and it did! If I can get the community to support a e-bike event here, it would truly be magical.
This place has it all: free camping (RV park full hook ups a few miles away), fishing, hiking, shooting, atv riding, horseback riding, exploring old mines, prospecting- well, it has a lot of adventurous things to do. I posted a video on Youtube here
