Magic Pie 4 26 inch wheel spoke length

Hello all,

Can anyone confirm if the spoke length for a 26 inch Magic Pie 4 is the same as a 26 inch Magic Pie 2 (the later version with improved spoke pattern). I'd like to reuse a GM rim and spokes from an MP2 with a MP4.

The spokes for the 26" GM rim should all be the same length on the MPII, MPIII and the MP4.

It's the original Magic Pie with the crossed spoke pattern that is different and used longer spokes:

I was thinking of building up a wheel to match the Smart Pie wheel I received (by ordering a GM 700 rim from Golden Motors Canada). I checked the spokes on the wheel I received from GM with a magnet and they are magnetic (i.e the magnet is attracted). So I am guessing GM spokes are common steel (as opposed to SST). Is this correct ?

I just received a Magic Pie 4, and laced up the motor to my old rim and spokes.  I just need to true the wheel and then I can try this thing out!
