902 system wiring
« on: June 27, 2013, 01:08:07 AM »
I have a question about the wiring of the Throttle.
From the thumb throttle unit, there are three connectors:
A 3-pin connector for throttle control
A 2-pin connector (yellow and brown wire) from the push on/push off switch to operate lights
A 2-pin connector (green and black wire) unidentified, possibly for the battery condition lights on the throttle.

From the controller, there is a 2-pin connection socket (also unidentified) from the "G" terminal of the controller, which is connected directly to the B+ of the battery (so the connection socket has B+ and B- connections on the pins.)

Is the 2-pin connector (green/black) from the throttle supposed to be connected to B+ and B_ through the G-terminal connector to make the battery gauge work?

I can't find a circuit diagram or a wiring description that confirms this, so I thought I had better check before just trying it!!

The simple answer is yes, the 2-pin connector (green/black) from the throttle is supposed to be connected to B+ and B- through the G-terminal connector to make the battery gauge LEDs work.
