48V MagicPie -> power consumption
« on: March 06, 2013, 12:02:23 PM »
Hi All,

As for the power consumption of the 48V 26" MagicPie-3, how much does it consume on the flat surface? What distance might be covered with the 48V10Ah battery?

What's top speed of the 24V 26" MagicPie-3 bicycle?

Thank you!

I have 48V 15Ah battery and the distance is about 40km or a little bit more.....

Throttle is always full open and start current peak is always above 80A hahaha.

At normal day no wind etc... current is about 8A at 40 km/h.

But it all depends on your hardware and software settings.
So.....mentioning exactly speed and distance is very difficult.

Just try out and you will know...

Have you ever tried to spit your 48V15Ah battery to two 24V15Ah batteries and then tried riding with a single 24V15Ah battery and then with another 24V15Ah one? What distance would be covered in this case? What's the top speed?

Nope never tried that, because I don't have the ability to try that out.
My battery pack is customized, so splitting the pack  is very  hard to do.
