I added the Cycle Analyst v3 with THUN pedelec sensor to my Townie. It's fantastic!

I created a video here and a diagram below if anyone else would like to do it.

That is fantastic Gary. This of course applies to CA3 without the Thun too if you want the advance features like three speed switch, on the go power limiting, power ramping (for when those with 60 amp controllers), speed based throttle, LVC (for lipo/lead), forced "running start", high temperature cutoff and probably some more to come. All those features require you to connect the throttle trough the CA3.
Disclaimer: I know nothing.

Thanks Lollandster,

The video is a little shaky, long winded and repetitive at times. But I intended it for first timers with no idea of what needs to be done.

What I really did not enjoy was with the V2 cycle analyst you needed to do some soldering on the circuit board inside the CA. I did this several times for myself and friends but did ruin one CA v2.3 board. Now it is much easier, People don't even have to open it if they don't want to. When I was taking with Justin on the phone he suggested the method I showed in the first diagram as well as running all three wires though the CA in this diagram. Either would work fine. This method uses the 5v feed and ground from the CA instead of from the GM controller. Adding a JSM plug would make it really neat and simple.
