Why is the new SmartPie cheaper than MagicPie 3 ?

Since I live in Norway, I buy my GoldenMotors stuff from http://www.devi-motion.com in Netherlands. The shipment cost is much lower here than in Canada.. Also the support is very good. They also sell complete GM e-bikes in this store

Since I have broken my smartPie controller for the third time now (water damage destroyed it completely the last time) I have ordered a Lyen controller and installed a NTC thermistor in the motor and I'm going see how the small SmartPie likes 74v Lipo at 30 amps (over 2000 watts). I hope it survives...

This is worrying me. It seems that the MP3 is not 100% water resistance. I live in a country with much rain unfortunately. I have already replaced one controller, and when I opened the casing everything was dry in there. Has anyone tried to put sealant tape after replacing the controller?

I live in Norway too. I think it was all the salt they put on the road that killed it.

Yes I agree with salt killed my scooter and bike.
I didn't wash them....my own fault!
