I see I got it wrong.  Your screen shot says EBS, not the ESB I thought.

Hey, does the "ignition" wire get connected to + battery terminal to work?  Or does it go to ground?

I am looking forward to receiving my controller.  It is in shipment between SanFrancisco and Portland......

If you're referring to the single red lead that supplies power to the controller board, it goes to positive (+). I ran mine through a simple toggle switch (hidden under the seat) in order to turn the controller board off when connecting/disconnecting the battery. It also conveniently shuts down the Cycle Analyst, which draws its power from the controller board.

I was getting serious arcing (each time I connected the battery) at the Anderson power plug when I had that red "ignition" lead hardwired directly to the main power line. I still don't know why the board draws that much juice on power up (caps maybe?), but my plug wouldn't have lasted very long at that rate.
