Hey it looks like a good price!

It would suit a Magic Pie motor okay, but more suited for a mini motor bike.

It's good they have the BMS in a plastic box, that's usually the first to get damaged.

Great price, unfortunate weight. I bet they probably charge the same price for shipping the damned lump. ::)

Yes the weight does seem extreme. A GM 36v12ah Aluminum cased, battery is only 7 kg. I wonder why it's so heavy.

I think going by the tech specs the BMS is some 3Kg... It certainly looks bigger than what Ping offer. And I think the weight at the top reflects the total shipping weight, packing and all

I still swear by the GM ones, with easy connections and simple charging. And you don't have to worry about securing the battery + BMS + water sealing etc. etc. etc. anyway what ever tickles your pickle

I thought 18650 was li-ion only.....anyway there is a lot of weight in the casing alone...the batteries I build would give me real world 24AH for 104 cells@ 48V......nominally 2100 AH per cell

price is great...maybe too great....ermmm.....im going with mark ..LIPOOOOOOOOOO :) ( joke, I aint got his money)

tread with caution my friends... a good battery lasts years....

yup I bet the shipping is 135.00 on top.plus they could have tier 3 cells, and you will be fixing it more than anything.i bet the bus bars are old cigarette tin foil.but ive been right more than wrong on battery packs.i still have a ni-mh 36v 9.5 ah and after 5 yrs still gives full run time, sags like granny boobs, but still works good for backup.
