Peter, if you can find a 52 tooth chainwheel to go with the above mentioned 11 tooth freewheel, your pedals would rotate one turn every second
(60rpm cadence) at 22mph.
The higher gearing should make it possible to pedal assist at higher speeds without having to over rev your legs!
Most non-professional cyclists are comfortable pedalling somewhere between 60–80 rpm
(22-30mph with 52:11 gearing).
At 60rpm, I would only manage 14mph with my 42 tooth chainwheel and a 14 tooth rear sprocket.
