External Cruise Controller Cuts out under Load  ???

It works but only to half throttle then it cuts out ???

Swapped battery  No difference

Swapped Cruise Controller  it works fine

So it has to be the Cruise Controller

Any ideas to why it would cut out under load it worked fine for a while then it started  cutting out under Load

Good luck!

I've had myriad issues with my 2 cruise controllers...
No help from GM China..
Some help from a dealer, but THAT help was to BUY another one from them at a discounted rate..

I shouldn't need to spend more money on a device that cost me $90+ in the first place and is obviously a faulty device riddled with problems..

One controller, the throttle control ON THE CONTROLLER SIDE went bad, and Tom from GM china REFUSES to believe me and has me testing out things totally unrelated to the throttle. At this point I've asked him for a replacement and no response in over a week..

The second controller, my regen stopped working too..
After two weeks of regen not working and still no response from Tom on either controller, the main positive power lead (spade terminal ON the controller) broke off..

So now I have two magic controllers that are completely dead after only a year worth of use...

I should NOT have to buy a new controller EVERY YEAR.

I NEED THOSE CONTROLLERS FIXED OR REPLACED.

On your controller, the ONLY THING I can think of is that MAYBE your wires are loose on one the phase wires or on the main power lead..
You may have a loose connection like I do.

I had the same problem  (spade terminal ON the controller) broke off..) its a lack of a good solder joint :'(
BUT are easly fixed but you need a 3 sided triangle philips scew driver /\
to take the controler apart a lot of solder joints need beefing up  :o just make shore you don't short anything  ::)
If you still have the spade terminal you can fix it  8)

The controler is basicly very good but a little more Quality Control would help  ???
, The main positive power lead (spade terminal ON the controller) broke off..)

I shouldnt have to open it up and solder..
As a matter of fact, I'm NOT going to go out and buy a solder gun and solder, just to fix THEIR QC issue.
I demand either a refund or a replacement.
