I came across this rather extensive table of equivalent tire sizes and thought it might be useful to others as well. Unfortunately the page is in dutch but the table (and the image) should speak for themselves. Just in case it's not clear, the three columns are "Inches", "French size" and "ETRTO size".

According to the
"Mini Motor - suitable tyre size ????" forum thread, the tire size for the Golden Motor 700c rim is XX-622 and the 28" rim should be XX-635 (ETRTO). Measuring my own GM 28" rim confirms this. If other people with different rims could post the tire size they needed, I'd be happy to update the following table for quick reference, thanks in advance.
