Spoke lengths for 700c Rear pie -
« on: May 30, 2011, 06:48:52 PM »
Dear anyone reading this message .. please could someone supply me with the two different spoke lengths for the 700c rear pie?

The reason I ask is that when I order my rear pie in a months time I'm just going to order the pie + cables etc without spokes and rim cos I'm going to do that bit myself. (need order in advance as spoke got to be custome made)

Cheers - and really appreciated if you could measure from very end of edge of thread to middle of elbow.

its the new one you saw at the weekend...

Truth is im importing a BMC motor for testing, so really don't need two pies and a bmc......so could sell to you to save you the hassle

However it is an external controller....not as neat wiring etc

As for spoke length, its going to depend on the rim you buy, as the mavic rims have at least 7mm extra spoke length...

My 26 RIM standard had 110 MM spokes, but the mavic ex719 required 118 MM

Still, graham @ tiller will do them overnight if you fancy a drive lol...i did

you definitely need a 7 speed DNP epoch with 11 teeth......dang and I just ordered one....

about 25 quid from the states....ebay has em...i think username is comcycleusa...very good ebayer...good delivery, both myself and andrew have purchased from them in the past.....

the 7 speed needs a little washer grinding etc, but do-able

anything less than 7 teeth, you gonna lose your legs peddaling
