The Magic Pie Motor
« on: September 02, 2010, 08:25:05 PM »
With all the slightly negative posts recently regarding communication and some other dodgy bits I would just like to say:

The actual Magic Pie motor is a very nice bit of kit indeed. Pulls like a train with a controller that can push out 40 amps, quiet (used to have a Cyclone non hub motor before) and is just a very well engineered bit of kit.

Just wanted to say that out loud 8)

Yes I agree Spacey!

Like I said before, a super motor, handicapped by a crap controller!

Thought the MP had blown but was in fact the crappy BMS I bought from a different company....will be asking for refund for sure.

It is always a small portion of people that have problems. But as we know this are always the lauder ones. People that had no problem do not even look for a forum, most of times!

As I posted before, there was no problem with the MP Motor it was the BMS that was supplied by a different company.

The MP motor is still going strong.

Well done Spacey to point out that it wasn’t the MP. :)
