We are a senior design group that is working on a project that a previous team worked on, and they had purchased the Magic Pie 3 26 inch hub motor to use for the project. Now we are trying to improve upon their design, but there is an issue. Even with the battery fully charged, when the switch is turned to the on position, the motor seemingly doesn't turn on. None of the lights on the handles of the frame turn on, and the throttle does not work. We are not sure what the problem is, because it seems that there is current going through all the connections. Does anyone know what we could try to get it to work?
